Retouching photographs is still a specialized field. Doing simple 'red eye' fixes is one thing, but a complete image retouch can be a very complicated process. I routinely do retouching work for various photographers and am well respected for my capabilities and attention to detail in this area.

This retouch was done for Ecophon, a Swedish ceiling tile company. It involved adding a new tile ceiling and changing the color of the walls to compliment and focus the eye on their new product.


On this shot, the client asked to have the finding dropped in since it was not available the day of the photo shoot. A few hours later, the finished product appeared in magazines world-wide.

This is my mother and father. For their 50th anniversary, I was called upon to clean up a wedding photo; a project I eagerly performed. The finished result received an approving nod from the folks.
This is one of those retouches that shows the truly amazing things you can do with Adobe Photoshop. I was given this partial shot with material that was the wrong color and missing deck sections. About 8 hours later, a gem of a shot.

They simply wanted to replace the dirt with stone. The complication was in all the chrome work that existed on the truck. In the end, no one could tell it wasn't sitting there all along.
Look close, you probably can't see it on these thumbnails (just click one). The ring had an awful chemical stain running all over it. It was quite a challenge to get it looking clean and as the client wanted.
